OK, so the first post-trip social! Unavoidably Bristol-centric I’m afraid, but all are welcome to make the special trip and stay chez Tim et Jane.
When: Friday 14th September
Venue: Bristol Cathedral / Bag o’ Nails / Bombay Dream
Gareth and I will be singing a (very holy) Men’s Voices evensong in Bristol Cathedral on Friday 14th September.
We then plan to go down to the Bag O’ Nails (pint of bacchanalia please) and onto Clifton’s finest curry parlour where Gareth will doubtless indulge in vindaloo with x2 garlic naan and I’ll probably have the Korma with extra coconut.
Evensong is 5.15 — if you can bear the heinous design, by some miracle they’ve already published the music list. Hilariously it’s a “Cantoris week” which means the canting of alternate plainsong psalm verses will fall to yours truly.
Shall I suggest some Canneloni interludes? Or do it Evita Topp stylee?
