It never rains but it sure pisses on our beach bonfire

Unfortunately, I’ve just heard back from City Farms and it turns out the place is already booked (I wish they could have told us that when we first enquired in November, but that’s a separate set of woes).

This has put me in the unenviable position this evening of writing to Tim Noon, Director of Music at the cathedral, to ask him just how hated we will be if we pull out.

It’s not that I want to pull out, but I think - speaking purely selfishly - we’ll have a better time going in 2008 when we can secure some local accommodation (which hopefully won’t go out of business).

Meantime, I’m hunting out a few other options.

You’ll be the first to hear if there’s any good news.

[...] Well, compared to our woes of earlier this year things are going positively swimmingly as regards accommodation. [...]
